Depression Counselling Westmount
Does It Feel Like You're Living Life on 'Hard Mode'?
Understand the root cause of your depression and gain practical tools to help you overcome it.
Living with depression is like playing the game of life with the setting on ‘hard mode’. And when there are no shortcuts or cheat sheets, finding your way out can seem impossible.
When things seem that hopeless, and you feel paralysed and stuck, sometimes the last thing you want to do is talk to someone.
But if you’re struggling to find your motivation, and you’re worried that you might not ever get it back, the best thing you can do is seek help.
I can help you sort through the issues and habits that are keeping you stuck, and help you create a happier, healthier, more meaningful life.
Break Free From What’s Holding You Back
Depression counselling may include helping you identify the causes of your depression, understanding and managing underlying emotions, talking about your personal and family history, all while strengthening resilience skills and mindfulness practices.
Counselling for depression can be very effective at helping you learn to recognise the triggers of your depression, its origins, and how to move past it.
I help people understand their past, learn how to shape a freer and more joyful present, and build a future filled with meaning, purpose and potential.
Rediscover Your Wellbeing
In depression counselling, I help you find a way to live free of those old patterns and issues that have made things hard for you.
When you work with me it’s like having a coach in your corner, someone who’s on your side. I will always approach our work with kindness and understanding, but I will also challenge you, when need be.
I use an integrative therapy approach that is respectful and empathic, and offer a safe, judgement-free environment.
