Psychedelic Integration Counselling Montreal
Integration Support for Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms), MDMA and Ayahuasca
Accepting new clients in-person and online.
Psychedelic experiences can be powerful, clarifying, and sometimes deeply unsettling. What comes after the experience is often where people get stuck. Insights that felt significant in the moment lose their shape. Emotional material surfaces without a clear framework for processing it. Some people feel better. Others feel worse, confused, or unable to return to their baseline.
Integration counselling provides a structured space to work through what came up and turn it into something practical. I work with people who have experienced or are considering psychedelics such as psilocybin (magic mushrooms), ayahuasca, LSD, MDMA, and ketamine. Sessions are available in person in Montreal and online.
What Psychedelic Integration Involves
Integration is the process of making sense of a psychedelic experience and applying whatever emerged in a grounded, sustainable way. That might mean working through difficult emotions that surfaced, examining shifts in perspective, processing grief or trauma that came up unexpectedly, or simply finding language for something that felt beyond words.
Not every psychedelic experience is transformative, and not every one is comfortable. Some people come to integration sessions after experiences that were confusing, frightening, or destabilising. Others arrive with a sense of clarity they want to protect and build on. Both are valid starting points.
Common reasons people seek integration support:
- Difficulty returning to normal functioning after a psychedelic experience
- Emotional overwhelm, anxiety, or depersonalisation that persists afterward
- Insights or realisations that feel significant but hard to act on
- Unresolved trauma or grief that surfaced during the experience
- Wanting to prepare thoughtfully before an upcoming experience
- Confusion about what the experience meant or how to move forward
- A sense that something shifted but an inability to articulate what
How Sessions Work
In the first session, we talk about what happened, what came up for you, and what you are carrying from the experience. From there, we identify what needs attention and build a plan.
Ongoing sessions are practical. We examine the material that surfaced, whether emotional, relational, or existential, and work out how it connects to your life as it is now. The goal is not to chase the experience or recreate it, but to extract what is useful and integrate it into how you think, relate, and make decisions going forward.
I do not provide psychoactive substances, nor do I recommend their use. If you intend to explore altered states of consciousness, I offer support to help you prepare and to process what follows.
What to Expect
You can speak openly about your experience without concern about judgment. I understand altered states of consciousness and I will not dismiss or pathologise what you share. This is a practical, grounded therapeutic space, not a spiritual or ceremonial one.
Some clients come for a few sessions to process a single experience. Others engage in longer-term work, particularly when the psychedelic experience has surfaced deeper material around identity, relationships, trauma, or meaning. We work at whatever pace makes sense for your situation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is psychedelic integration counselling?
Integration counselling helps you process psychedelic experiences and work out how insights, emotional shifts, or difficult material can be applied or resolved in your daily life.
Which substances do you work with?
I work with people who have experienced psilocybin (magic mushrooms), ayahuasca, LSD, MDMA, ketamine, and other psychedelics. The therapeutic process is similar across substances.
Do I need to have had a psychedelic experience to book a session?
No. Some clients attend after an experience, while others seek support to prepare beforehand or to explore questions about whether psychedelics are appropriate for them.
Can integration help if my experience was difficult or frightening?
Yes. Many people seek support after feeling overwhelmed, anxious, destabilised, or unable to make sense of what happened. Difficult experiences often carry the most useful material when processed properly.
Is this therapy or spiritual guidance?
Therapy. Sessions are clinically grounded and focused on practical outcomes. I draw on my background in mindfulness and meditation where relevant, but this is not a ceremonial or spiritual practice.
Do you offer in-person and online sessions?
Yes. Sessions are available in person at my office in Westmount, Montreal and online.
Do you issue insurance receipts?
Yes. I provide receipts that can be submitted to your insurance provider. Confirm directly with your insurer whether counselling services from a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) are covered under your plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer the time slot to other clients.
